Table of contents:
- Some staves were interesting to begin with, some looked pretty, but most of them had seen no use in the game. At first, I decided to give all staves some Cooldown Reduction to be more helpful to mages and, specifically, spellblades, but that would've been too powerful.
- I gave some Cooldown Reduction to: Master's Staff, Ivory Master's Staff, Compasswood Staff, Rotwood Staff and Jade-Lich Staff. All of those were interesting and good looking, but rarely used. Master's Staff and Scholar's Staff already can be enchanted with "Isolated Rumination" for 10% CD so I decided give minimal or no changes to them.
- I always liked how Compasswood and Rotwood look, and even though Compasswood Staff has a build on wiki, Rotwood isn't powerful enough. So I gave them a complete rework. Compasswood staff now gives you speed bonus as if guiding you in the right direction and Rotwood fives you pasive mana as if giving you it's last life force.
- Jade-Lich Staff is ignored in every way possible, so I gave it the same treatment as Jade Scimitar, it now gives you 1% corruption every 3 hits. Perfect for Blood Sigil users. Plus I decided to give it some Barrier in honor of Jade Lich. It can also be enchanted with a special Jade Mirror enchant.
- Quarterstaff isn't a magical staff, but it is staff nontheless, so I gave it non-magical enchantment: "Monk Training". Sets your Quarterstaff damage to 45 and gives you small speed boost. Caldera Enchantment, requires Enchanting Guild and Diamond Dust.
- Cracked Red Moon and Revenant moon needed a huge buff considering how far into the game they are given.
